Artwork Guidelines
We can accept artwork in almost any electronic file format from both Mac and PC. To achieve the best possible results, we recommend sending your artwork as early as possible so our team can review it before production. This also helps us to ensure you get an accurate quotation before proceeding with your order.
Each item can have multiple print methods available for us to achieve the best result. Each different print method tends to have its own unique pricing relevant to the complexity of the print itself. This is something we can guide you through during the quotation process.
Our experienced in-house artwork team is always happy to help. Whether you need advice on file formats, artwork suitability, or preparing your logo for print, we're only too happy to assist. Simply email your artwork or any questions to our studio, and we'll check everything over and recommend the most suitable branding method for your chosen promotional product.
You can find out more about the branding methods we use on all our promotional products via our YouTube Channel.
Our team will advise you on the most effective print or branding process for your artwork from the following options:
Screen Printing
Screen printing applies one colour at a time through a custom-made stencil onto flat or curved surfaces. Additional colours are added using separate screens and print passes. This versatile process is ideal for plastics, wood, metal, textiles, glass and ceramics, delivering bold, vibrant colours with excellent durability.
Pad Printing
Pad printing is ideal for decorating flat, curved or recessed surfaces. Ink is transferred from an etched printing plate via a flexible silicone pad, allowing detailed designs to be applied accurately to irregular shapes. Perfect for desktop accessories and products made from plastics, metals, wood and other rigid or semi-rigid materials.
Full Colour (CMYK) Printing
Using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK) inks, full colour printing reproduces photographic-quality images, gradients and complex artwork. Ideal for paper, card, textiles, PVC, plastics and a wide range of flat promotional products.
Transfer Printing
Your design is first printed onto a specialist transfer material before being heat-applied to the finished product. This method allows detailed, full-colour artwork to be applied to items that cannot be printed directly. Suitable for textiles, ceramics, glass, PVC, plastics, bags and many UK-manufactured stress products.
Digital Printing
Digital printing transfers artwork directly from computer to product without the need for printing plates. It offers excellent print quality, making it ideal for short runs, fast turnaround times and personalised items. Suitable for paper, plastics, textiles and many promotional products.
Embroidery
Embroidery stitches your logo directly into fabric, creating a premium, long-lasting finish. Although fine detail may not be as crisp as print, embroidery offers outstanding durability and is the preferred choice for clothing and fabric products. Ideal for garments, bags, caps, towels, soft textiles and other fabric items.
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving permanently marks the surface of a product by precisely etching the material. The result is a highly durable, premium finish that won't fade or wear away under normal use. Ideal for stainless steel, aluminium, chrome, glass, crystal, wood and many other hard materials.
Litho Printing
Lithographic printing produces sharp, high-quality images with smooth colour gradients and fine detail. It is particularly suited to larger print runs and designs featuring tints, tones and multiple spot colours. Best suited to paper, cardboard, PVC, plastics and other flat surfaces.
Hot Foil Blocking
Hot foil blocking uses heat and pressure to apply metallic or coloured foil, creating an elegant and professional finish. Commonly used on leather, PU and PVC products such as diaries, notebooks, folders and desk accessories.
Labelling
Printed labels provide a practical solution for products that cannot be branded directly. Labels can be produced in full colour using lithographic or digital print and are available in paper, vinyl and specialist materials. Ideal for irregular surfaces or products where traditional printing methods are not suitable.
